The Forrest Outreach Foundation was established in 1999 by Bob and Kim Nimon, in response to Christ's concern for the poor and in thankful memory of Kim's father, Bill Forrest. The Forrest Outreach Foundation is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through strategies that empower the economically disadvantaged. The Foundation is focused on supporting programs in our local community, Collin County, Texas, as well as developing economic ministry programs for the economically disadvantaged in third-world countries.

The Forrest Outreach Foundation's board of directors, with valuable contributions from individuals, corporations and institutions, have developed several programs to empower economically disadvantaged persons to make positive lasting changes in the lives of current and future generations. Individuals, families and agencies may take advantage of the Forrest Outreach Foundation's programs by applying for assistance. The Foundation's current programs include:

  • Click-For-Success
  • SEED Education
  • SEED Products

Click-For-Success expands to 3 schools in Fall 2005

Click-For-Success Click-For-Success is a one-of-a-kind program that helps bridge the "Digital Divide" by providing economically disadvantaged families the opportunity to gain technical awareness and skills in both the comfort of their own homes and in a classroom environment.

Beginning in the Fall of 2005, students at both the elementary and middle school levels will be enrolled into the program (Meadows Elementary, Mendenhall Elementary and Armstrong Middle School). This translates to over 200 economically disadvantaged individuals (students and family members alike) who will benefit from learning basic computer skills and acquiring the tools necessary to make a lasting difference in their lives.
